Portfolio

For the site of a designer, a photographer or a studio: the logo coming in, an opening and a headline people remember, projects in lists and galleries, work on show, page transitions, who you are and how you work, the menu and contact.

205 pieces

Each piece can be watched live, tweaked in the Playground and copied on its own; the zip holds them all, each in its own folder.

Type in space

For studios working with type and 3D: words made of threads, readable from one point only, an architecture studio’s name drawn in perspective, its vanishing point following the pointer, and a pottery studio’s name made of clay, to press with a finger.

A games studio

For a studio that makes games: the headline that arrives in pixels, the page that lights up under the pointer and the services on cards that straighten up.

The projects, kept clean

The list of work in rows of text: the image shows only when you pass over it; and the project list with a brace hugging the item under the pointer.

Pages like paper

Page changes that behave like a real sheet: a dog-eared corner whose fold spreads across the whole page.

More menus

A full-screen menu for a studio that works with code, with the links written in characters, a photographer’s menu on a turning clock face a studio’s six sections on the faces of a cube that unfolds flat, a publisher’s links on sheets of tissue paper, another’s spelled by the falling letters of MENU, the nav of a measuring-tools studio, with the pointer running along the graduated scale, and an architecture studio’s menu with a plumb line swinging in front of the links.

Writing to the studio

The project enquiry written as a sentence: every blank is a field, the words after it make room.
